AtlasRail - Atlasia's Future

Many months ago, there was a push for the rebuilding and revitalization of our rail system through the process of new train and rail technology, known as "high speed rail." Now, we have the possibility to make this a reality.

Governor Wells of the great region of Lincoln, Governor Truman of the great region of Fremont, and myself of the best region, The South, have decided to ensure that we continue to embrace the future and connect our regions through this new technology, which will help rebuild our workforces and grow our economies.

The beginning plans are to start off with three main routes, all of which connect our three regions, which can be and are encouraged to be expanded upon. A Boston to Miami Route, an Atlanta to Texas route, and an El Paso to San Francisco Route.

(some of the cities that this plan runs through were not included in my map, along with this very strange unknown "Washington D.C." in for Nyman.)

Northern Leg of the Boston-Miami Route, Southern Leg of the Boston-Miami Route
Charleston to El Paso Route
El Paso to San Francisco Route

The Routes:

Boston‣Providence‣Hartford‣New York‣Philadelphia‣Annapolis‣Baltimore‣Nyman‣Richmond‣Raleigh‣Charleston‣Jacksonville‣Tallahassee‣Orlando‣Miami

Charleston‣Columbia‣Atlanta‣Montgomery‣Mobile‣Jackson‣Baton Rouge‣New Orleans‣Houston‣Dallas‣Austin‣San Antonio‣El Paso

El Paso‣Albuquerque‣Santa Fe‣Phoenix‣Las Vegas‣Los Angeles‣San Jose‣San Francisco

Now the cost factor is an issue, and after a couple hours of cost analysis I have tallied the entire project's cost to be able $300B. Of course this would be over the next couple of years, so I expect the impact to be present, but not overwhelming to our perspective budgets.

This is, of course, a work in progress, but we want to show our commitment to this issue, and to preserving and advancing the route of transportation that has made our nation great, and can and will continue to do so for our future generations.

Thank you!

Again, this is a proposal to connect our three regions. We all have plans to expand the system, but this is just the starting plan.
