He's the reason why Macron and Le Pen made it as a far as they did, plus he was utterly incompetent as President. I mean, the dude got 4 (FOUR) percent approvals.

It's mildly impressive that he managed to PASOK his party on pure incompetence alone - but it's remarkably damaging that now in PS's ashes arises a bourgeois "liberal" party and mildly euroskeptic hard lefty's, while Les Republicains (lol) remaining largely in tact.
