Dole's a hack but did right by the people of Kansas, so he's the best even though Kassebaum is probably more ideologically compatible.

Sam Brownback is trash and will always be trash, though Pat Roberts is pretty awful for such a boring guy.

Sam Brownback was a decent senator, unfortunately his tenure as governor has made that hard to remember.
