Dr. Demento, was a DJ in Los Angeles (though now does his stuff online) His show is known for playing Novelty musis, comedic music, ect. He's also the inspiration for the Dr. in my name.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON EDUCATION COMMITTEE...AND OTHER THINGS

Hello folks, for my first post I wish to make two points

1. Figure I do my part to help advertise the special committee Governor Truman has created about education in Fremont. I encourage any who are interested to check out the forum  here I have a small overview of topics I intend to bring up.

* Public and private schools are both equally valuable. I am of the option that government has not always felt that way towards public schools. Thus I will lobby to insure public schools are given the funds and attention needed to ensure that they do not continue to decline.

* I like Charter Schools (IRL I graduated from one) and there are great things they can do. But if we are to ensure that they do the most good, we need strict screening and oversight to insure they do not take advantage of their unique status to help themselves, without giving kids the education they need.

* We need to rethink our policies of the past, where we just threw tests at the problem. We need an over vamp on how we judge the performances of our schools.

This is not everything of course, simple a teaser of some of the things I will be thinking about. I hope to see many faces there.

Secondly, as you can see on the info area, I am with the ecosocialists, and I intend to keep the 'eco' part of the name. I am currently working on a bill to tackle some of the environmental issues we face today. You should expect me to submit the bill within the next few days.

Finally, just want to say I am happy to see Fremont active, I was sad that I didn't get to do much the first time I was elected and I am joyed to finally be able to start making a mark on Atlasia.

That's all for now, I wish you all a lovely day.

Official announcement of Reelection run

Hello folks, I am posting this to announce that I am seeking reelection in the House of Commons in Fremont. I've been enjoying the opportunity to do some good for Fremont, just to name a few.

*Supported laws for workers rights, environmental good, and a number of other important topics.

*Of those bills, one of them was one that I myself drafted, a bill now law that will bring green energy to our Region's government buildings.

*Working with my fellow fremontians on Education reform, getting computer skills into the curriculum to insure our students are computer literate by the time they finish high school.

But that is not all. While progress now is good, we must look to the future as well. If reelected.

*I like a lot of Barnes suggestions for the Commons and would work to get reforms for parliament out, even presenting them myself should he not be elected (though I believe he will in fact be elected)

*Push for further environmental reform, including emition limits and new infrastructure for greener vehicles.

*Continue with education discussion, with an expectation of having a bill ready by the end of the term.

With that, I look forward to seeing the results of the elections, and hope that I have earned a second term in the eyes of you, the voters.

Endorsed for re-election! You have been among the most consistently active members of the Commons, and it will be a pleasure to work with you in the next session!

Statement on election results

Well folks, I won't lie, I'm a bit disappointed. I enjoyed the opportunity to work with my fellow fremontians to make the region a better place. While I had hoped to get a second term to continue this work, it was not to be it seems. However, I have the upmost confidence in those who were elected and wish them the best of luck in this term. I am also willing to continue talking in the Education Committee should Truman still wish my assistance.

Till then, I may be unemployed, but if I can help it, I don't intend to stay that way.

Hello peoples!

I've not been quite the active person I have wished to be, I have a few reasons for that, but never the less I have decided to try something fun. (Well, fun for me at least)

Think of it as a Town Hall, chance to ask me about the issues or things happening at the moment. I'll be checking in all day so hopefully this won't end horribly.

My main priorities are:

A. To be of service in the crafting of environmental legislation and insure that such legislation fits the energy needs of the region.

B. Insure that the stuff we do already have in place is functioning and going well. On that note I am working on a report I intend to present to the Prime Minister. I am also willing to meet with any members for such talks too.
