https://decisiondeskhq.com/data-dives/creating-a-national-precinct-map/

The map is near the bottom. Just zoom into your house on your street, and click to see the exact percentages.

Does anyone know if the precincts are ranked anywhere? Like, ranked highest % to lowest % for who voted for Trump, and same for Hillary?

Really cool feature, my precinct swung to Clinton, but the ones right across the street from me swung HEAVILY to Trump. Obama won the precincts to the South of mine by 56% and 59% respectively in 2012, yet Trump carried them 61% and 72% respectively.

Very interesting data. The precinct of Lithium, just a half mile north of my house, went from an Obama: 49.17% McCain: 49.58% precinct in 2008 to a Trump: 74.18% Clinton: 21.31% precinct in 2016. Around 240 people voted both times and it is 100% rural, the biggest "town" is probably 50ish people. Another interesting one that follows the national trends, super rich white area in Cape Girardeau that went from a 58% McCain precinct to a 51% Clinton precinct.

Is there any way to get this data into the Dave's Redistricting App?

My precinct swung from:

Obama: 64%
Romney: 32%

to

Clinton: 75%
Trump: 20%

This result doesn't surprise me at all.  It's hard to imagine a candidate more culturally out-of-step with L.A. than Trump.  Hell, Clinton even won most Republican-leaning precincts in Beverly Hills by a landslide.  I just wonder how an economic populist like Bernie Sanders could do against Trump in L.A.'s wealthier quarters.  He'd obviously still win by a lot, but it would not surprise me if turnout levels dropped.

Is there any way to get this data into the Dave's Redistricting App?

Dave from DRA does seem to solicit help putting together the data for his app, but it seems like a big undertaking. That is probably why there is no rush to provide mid-decade updates. My guess is if people actually put together the data for him, he'd probably change the App to use it:

My Precinct...

2016 Election Results

62.13% | Trump
33.16% | Clinton

2012-2016 Election Swing

14.63% | Clinton

2012 Election Results

71.36% | Romney
27.77% | Obama

2008 Election Results

71.65% | McCain
27.93% | Obama

This is an excellent map and resource. It is unsurprising, yet disappointing, how conservative my precinct voted.

Here's my township (precinct)

2008
46.7% Obama
52.61% McCain

2012
43.21% Obama
55.62% Romney

2016
41.92% Clinton
51.54% Trump

Looks like neither party did all that good in 2016 compared to 2012.   The Republicans did fall a bit more,  but the Dems have had 3 consecutive elections that they declined in the total percentage of the vote.

The precinct percentages in my city do not correspond with the official percentages. Hmm.

Looks like Bellevue (where I live) went for Hillary pretty big. So much for working-class whites supporting Trump.

Also, I notice some precincts in my area are shown in red even though Hillary won them if you click on them.

ahahahaha I was in a very liberal precinct in Oklahoma - 51% Trump, 42% Clinton. It also swung hard against Trump. Vote 58% for Romney and 57% McCain.  That said, Trump voters probably moved heavily to Johnson - Clinton did not improve at all on Obama's performance.

Are you referring to the area on Old Bloomfield Road heading out of Cape past Menard's with the giant houses and Dalhousie Golf Club? Wow, I'm really surprised that Hillary won that area. I recall seeing that road littered with Trump yard signs, but now I'll have a reason to smile next time I drive there (soon as they're done with the road work).

This was my first year voting in Cape, but my precinct was less for Trump than the entire city. I guess that'll help me get through these next 3-4 years of hell.

Was going to post the same thing.

There has been a discussion going on regarding this for some time already. A great resource regardless though! Cheesy
