Bad. Stupid. Wrong. Not illegal or impeachable, however.

Yeah, it really sounds like this was just a stupid bragging thing, not fulfilling Democrats' dreams of catching him "colluding" with the Russians.

this is worse than everything else.

it's practically treason.

not exaggerating anything and no, this is not trump evil agent, bla, this is security risk trump must be neutralized regarding is intel access, imho.

Does anyone else find it disturbing that if the evidence is so sensitive, washington post has so much close access to it and other dealings in the intel world? I understand and value the need for a close eye on government, but isn't it a security risk in and of itself when people in the media have access to people in the intel world in a such a close manner?

would be worse if no one would know about this in a democracy.

those denials are worthless...they are more or less confirming the thing itself.

The story is everywhere now. MSNBC, CNN, and even FOX.
It's news. Of course they're going to cover it.  That's why it's called Fox NEWS.

you are not often watching FN, are you?

Well, when you call out trump for undermining American leadership, expect to be called out for your hypocritical worship of Obama's middle eastern policy, which made many of our allies in the region disappointed and let down after 8 years.

you are totally entitled to your opinions and your postings, sir, i just recommend ignoring those roads to people who seemingly disagree, if the value the news factor. Wink

I do love how neo-con bush republicans are now heroes on this board are worthy of being retweeted on here.

sure they are.

frum, podhoretz, kristol and co never drank the trump kool-aid.

partisanship is the worst drug of them all.

to be clear...

since the us prez is a little king, this is not illegal for -->HIM<-- but it is easily an impeachable error.

stay real:

whoever hates the media...doesn't matter....if all of them are willing to take SUCH a risk they must be damn sure.

old mccain guy salter:

That denial of things not alleged in the WP story was a confirmation of its accuracy.

Did McMaster basically confirm the story? There are reports saying he didn't deny the details.

he didn't deny it, he just ignored the details and stated that stuff which isn't in the article hasn't happened.

By the way, why wouldn't we want to share intel with Russia about ISIS? Russia is one of the few nations that has actually bombed ISIS. I thought leftists were all about global cooperation?

you wouldn't want share classified intel from one of your allies, collected through some possible mole, which wasn't even shared with US allies at this point, with a strategic enemy, no. Smiley

Why do you want Russia to be an enemy in the war against ISIS?

russia is an enemy in the war against russia, IS is a non-factor, dying quickly against kurds.

did anyone say this specifically?

otherwise....those tapes must be great.

Question for dems: when did you decide that indeed the 1980s don't deserve their policy back?

when russia decided to undermine democracy and liberalism? hard question, i know.

You do realize that Russia had nothing to do with Hillary!'s crushing defeat.

who cares about this?

the russians helped her losing but that hasn't changed my mind at all about putin's regime, i follow them since 2006. Smiley

Are those 2 things really all that much to ask?

they are not.

they are just the....sub-topic, atm.

as long as there is no useful check on this administration, the leaks are all which is between the administration and the "ignorance" of the us citizens.

How to tell @gregpmiller and @GregJaffe have it right: They know *which* details Trump told Lavrov. Officials asked WP not to publish them.

"republicans" are not committing treason.

trump would have - if he weren't the prez.

the question is only if republicans are defending a treasonous act.

defending it is not treason...just spineless and pathetic.

None of this was treason.  And in addition, so Republicans not calling for Trump's impeachment daily are traitors?

i misspoke.... not instead of "now". Smiley

trump would have commited treason, yes but the prez can't do it.

and no....republicans just blindly defending trump on this are - as i stated - imho spineless cowards or partisan hacks.

This story is ultimately verifiable or falsifiable. There is a full transcript. Congress should demand it.
