This has been mentioned before, but how are they bringing Dan back?  My guess is they'll use the pilot episode to apologize for the last episode the same way the last episode apologized for the entire last season.

My expectations aren't high for this, unfortunately.

Has John Goodman ever done a bad thing?  If the writing isn't horrible it will at least be watchable.  If the writing is good/great it could be better than the original.  Is Laurie Metcalf coming back too?  Or the younger daughter.....sister of the girl from Little.....Sarah Gilbert!, is she coming back too?  Those two, Goodman and Roseanne made that show what it was.
