I remember back when I though Sarah Palin as president was the most ridiculous thing in the world.  Now, I think she'd be doing a much better job than DT.  Pick your poison!

Yeah, unfortunately she would probably be better. She wasn't a terrible governor. She's just dumb, not evil like trump.

well what's interesting was that Palin was a big government small "c" conservative as Governor of Alaska. Corrupt, sure, but she was not as terrible as her current persona suggests she would be (and, surprisingly, less corrupt than a lot of her counterparts during that time). That being said, I think Palin circa her 2017 might be even worse because she might be even more hawkish.

So ranking

Pre-Governor Palin > Governor Palin > DJT > 2017 Palin

(moderate hero option)

Sarah Palin, obiously.

She has prior experience as the leader of an executive branch. And she's not an narcissist (although she certainly has other "issues"). In essence, she'd be a female version of George W. Bush. Which would still be pretty bad, but not as bad as Trump.
