I'm going to do this again, but only limiting myself to major party candidates that I must choose. No write-ins or third parties.

What made you change your view toward Jackson?

Pretty much for his opposition to national bank, paying off national debt, and nullification. But of course his policy with Native Americans was beyond horrific. I don't have that much against Quincy Adams so its not anti-Adams as much as it is likeability over some of Jackson's policies.

I think he's far too radical for anyone to take seriously. I see myself as Libertarian because I am socially liberal and fiscally conservative. Orthodox Libertarians would likely see me as not "Libertarian enough."

I for one really hate Libertarian "purity", the only way the libertarian movement is going to be successful is if they invite everyone in. That said, why is Ron Paul too radical to take seriously? What is particularly radical about him? I admire Ron, and I don't consider myself a radical, or even anarcho-capitalist.

For one, I am offended by his 9/11 truther stance. Sure, I agree the government should not have passed the PATRIOT Act, but don't go all tinfoil hat on us.

I never knew he took such a stance. Was he just questioning the government's info on 9/11 or full out saying the government intended it to happen? Those are two very different things.

Is it his foreign policy that drives you to say this? I have a staunchly republican family that told me that Ron Paul's foreign policy was dangerous, but then I actually listened to him, and his points of truly being a fiscal conservative and not voting for unnecessary wars/interventions really do make sense. If you can, listen to this and find points you disagree with him on. Ron isn't a good speaker, but the content is really what matters.
