You can't tell me that Grover Cleveland wasn't a good candidate, or that William Jennings Bryan needed to be kept out of power at any cost, even if it meant voting for an imperialist like McKinley.

Alright, maybe Cleveland. And Coolidge. But apart from that, pretty much no-one.
