1960: Kennedy (never would have trusted Nixon after VP run).
1964:  LBJ (Goldwater would have scared the crap out of me, retrospect a great man).

1976: Ford (really respected his moderate views, didnt like Carter's good boy image)
1980: Carter (with nose held, Reagan would be too hard right for me. Anderson a wasted vote).
1984: Mondale (Ferraro would have excited me, she was a great woman, Mondale is mediocre).
1988: Dukakis (nose held for Dukakis).
1992: Clinton (with respect for Perot's run).
1996: Clinton
