Let me play the world's smallest violin for them. They knew this White House was going to be rife with ethics issues. They know how to avoid that: don't have ethics issues! Obama didn't have that much of a problem (was there any investigation into Obama's White House like this?)
Obama's presidency was indisputably scandal-free, unless you count MUH FAST AND FURIOUS or MUH BENGHAZI (the fact that Republicans never seemed to assign any blame to Obama for Benghazi even though he was the POTUS at the time and instead bashed Hillary was just more proof of how transparently it was a political hit job).
