I agree, unless you're forced to by consequences of life, why would any sane person choose to live in any of these four places?  Ok, I guess I can imagine reasons to want to live in NYC.  I can understand wanting to live in Texas, but Houston of all places?  If you want to be in entertainment you might want to move to the El Lay area, but nobody lives in Los Angeles proper unless they're too poor to live anywhere better.  There are certainly nice parts of Chicago, it's easy to avoid the "murdery" places....but it's currently moving on to phase 3 in the "How to be like Detroit in 6 Easy Steps" handbook isn't it?  Sure, they have some things going for it that Detroit didn't, but that just means the road to hell will be a little longer and slightly less bumpy early in the trip.


I went with Chicago anyway.
