@RepJohnConyers
#MedicareForAll cosponsor number 111, giving us 58% of @HouseDemocrats, is Caucus Chair @repjoecrowley. Please send him lots of love!

(Crawley has never supported Single payer from what I remember & was going full hog on ACA, this is a change & comes 5 days after Brand New Congress announced a primary challenger, a phenomenal Hispanic women who has served various entrepreneurial, activist & organizing roles ! )

Alexandria OC‏ @Ocasio2018  May 21
 5 days ago we announced our campaign. Today Crowley flipped on #MedicareForAll. We're changing the 🌎 - just wait till we're in Congress.

Atleast if they don't even win seats, they will push the party in the right direction. Brand New Congress (with Justice Democrats) through their individual volunteers are calling & writing to every Democrat in Congress not supporting HR676 & in-case they are giving really bad replies, they are putting the replies in public & are exerting tremendous pressure!

They have been publishing the list of Democrats not supporting HR676 with phone numbers to call & pressurize them ! So even if they don't win anything, hopefully they do some good !

The idea that these jokers could have any effect on anyone is laughable.

They have got phenomenal candidates, community leaders, liked with an amazing bio running on policies which are very popular among the voters  (& Senior Level Ex-Bernie staffers, Move on members & a group of volunteers working hard). And TYT has literally billions of views & is the largest online network. And they are raising decent money, the 1st two candidates raised 30K & 50K Plus within a week odd of the candidacy was announced.

Crawley has never supported Single payer & didn't co-sponsor this bill earlier, so this is a change & suddenly after a primary challenger was announced, so maybe it has has something to do with them, maybe not, no1 really knows !

I hope they focus most of their money on replacing Republicans with BNCers and not on replacing Democrats. Congress is in reach in 2018, but not if we spend all our money infighting.
