Let's say that Trump is impeached or is so badly damaged by scandal that he doesn't run in 2020. Who are the candidates who could pick up the Trumpist wing of the Republican party? Would Trump endorse?

If Trump were that badly damaged, nobody would want his endorsement.

Alright how about this

Trump gets a terminal illness ahead of the 2020 election so he can't run, who takes up his mantle?

Unfortunately, there is none Trumpist candidate.

Bannon is pretty close, but he has no charisma and looks disgusting and is not cooool.
The genetically modified Kushner-Bannon-Christie would be something.

Potentially anyone. Jeff Sessions could, as he was the first Senator to endorse Trump. Tom Cotton is a young, dynamic up-and-comer who seems well liked and could pick up the Trump mantle. Heck, even Stephen Miller will be 35 by the next Inauguration Day, and he has the appropriate fuhreresque intensity.
