I will say that Comey had a very difficult job under very trying circumstances. I honestly wish I could criticize Comey but I think he was trying very hard to deal with a series of bad situations.

LMAO at this. Right so if a document comes to light showing that Lynch assured the Clinton campaign that nothing would happen then don't worry about it, its probably a forgery. Comey didn't break all protocol in assuming, completely inappropriately, the role of prosecutors in deciding whether to prosecute because Lynch asked him to give political cover for letting Clinton off after she was snapped meeting Bill Clinton. Oh no, unknown to Lynch Comey made that decision because of the Russians, and look over there! Russians! Comey did nothing wrong! The Russians, the Russians!

I'd say that, as you're trying to point out the absurdity of assuming that a document suggesting this kind of thing MUST be wrong, you're being equal absurd in thinking that such a document MUST be true, presumably because you support The Donald, and thus anything that helps him must be given the benefit of the doubt.

Oh such a document could easily be disinfo. It just strikes me that this whole story smells like disinfo, designed to give Comey (and Lynch) an excuse if any evidence shows up that they inappropriately gave cover to Hillary Clinton during the e-mail investigation.

Tough call. If he had, he may have been charging an innocent woman as part of a case he couldn't win. It would possibly also have resulted in a different Democratic nominee, and thus no President Trump. Hindsight in always 20/20.
