Several years back the popular kids' TV show The Fairly Oddparents had a special called "Channel Chasers," in which the protagonist and his magical sidekicks get magic remotes and mess up all the TV universes. One scene, involving the evil babysitter Vicky, seems especially pertinent for our times.

Basically, Vicky gets bored of the show "Politically Inaccurate" and turns it into "Politically Inaccurate Smackdown."

One can support Trump and still find plenty of humor in the politics as performance art.

Indeed.  Also, it's amazing how much of children's cartoons went over my head at the time.  One of these days, I want to rewatch a bunch of FOP episodes, as it was probably my favorite cartoon growing up.
