I definitely like this idea compared to the way impeachment is set up now.  I think for something like that, it's always good to get a broad a consensus as possible without being so broad that it's impossible like Adam pointed out in the House thread.

This might seem like an unreasonable request, but I wonder if we might consider changing the threshold from 22 to 24?  Right now, we could theoretically reach 22 with 4 Senators and 5 Representatives, which is basically just a majority of both chambers (obviously there are other combinations too).  The reason why I bring it up is that's the most likely "partisan" scenario where a party that has a simple majority of both chambers could impeach anyone they want.  24 would at least force it to be a little harder since super-majorities in the House and Senate are kinda rare.

     I agree with Senator Siren about increasing the limit. A two-thirds vote is required IRL, and while the variable levels of suffrage affect this threshold I do think it is a good number for us to adopt in our Congress as well. I will propose an amendment to Article III, Section 7, Clause iii:

Well, as far as I can tell, no one claimed sponsorship on this one, so I'm not sure what to do with the amended. I suppose that's kind of my fault, since I keep forgetting to mention that these bills need sponsors.
