I am going to open up a 72 hour Declaration Period for endorsements by the Federalist Party. All declared Federalists will be automatically endorsed at the end of the endorsement process unless, two or more Federalists shall be candidates for the same single office election, in which case a primary will be held at end of this 72 hour period. Any non-Federalists seeking our endorsement must declare so in this thread.

Evening, folks.

I'm sure y'all have quite enough to get along with, as do I, so I'll make this "brief" (or, as brief as I can be ). Having these past six months been consumed with the grueling, often lonely, always critical task of restoring stability and constitutional democracy to the Western states, I now ask the support of yourselves and your party as I seek election to a second full term as Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Fremont. Since assuming office in January, I have worked closely with the Federalists and independent conservatives in my region (despite successive left-wing majorities in the legislature that made it unnecessary, politically, for me to do so) to promote the interests of my constituents and to restore active and accountable governance to the halls of my regions' government. With conservative support, I have undertaken the most complete overhaul of any region's government in the history of Atlasia, taking Fremont from a state of de facto anarchy in January to a thriving and politically diverse commonwealth in June. My ministry, in its first month alone, passed more legislation than all of my predecessors combined; this legislation, furthermore, was founded upon new and innovative ideas balancing liberal social goals with market-based strategies, resulting in the largest and most productive economy of our republic.

Every major initiative of my ministry has been passed with conservative votes, and for good reason: ideas like indexing the minimum wage to the cost of living by county, reforming curriculum standards in our public schools, promoting green energy while creating new jobs, and launching the most ambitious infrastructure plan since the reboot enjoy widespread support in both our parties and were developed with conservative support and counsel. Again, I did not need these votes to pass my agenda - I could just as easily have relied on a good whip and strong party discipline; rather, my policies have gained conservative support because I have exhibited a consistent and sincere desire to work with Fremontians on both sides of the political divide, and to adopt those policies that best serve my region and her citizens without regard for party strategy. This is not a superfluous sentiment dragged out once every four months to win votes; it is a consistent principle of public service that I have executed since my days as Speaker of the Mideast Assembly, that has allowed me to build strong working relationships with Federalists such as Speaker Yankee, Senator Bessell, Representative Leinad, and a host of others.

During this same time, I have served faithfully in the cabinets of the last three Federalist presidents : as Secretary of State under President Leinad, Secretary of the Interior under President Yankee, and Attorney General under President DFW. While I cannot speak for them, I know it has been a pleasure on my part to serve their administrations, and I remain willing to collaborate with them - and indeed, the whole Federalist Party - whenever and wherever common ground may exist.

For these reasons, I humbly request your endorsement for the office of Prime Minister. My compliments to the chair.

Federalists are automatically endorsed. Any fed joining a race would automatically bump a non-Fed down preference wise.


Unless two feds declare for the same office or a rather large number...

This is going to be three years old this July/August. Because we had such distinguished people as Lumine, Duke, Scott and Hagrid as members of the party back then, a good bit of this actually holds up rather well and is rather moderate. That being said, there are some elements that probably need modification, particularly on Foreign Policy, not to mention forum affairs since this was composed pre-reset.
