I think it's a little more appropriate than burning Obama in effigy, but not by very much.

It's also not being done by prominent Democratic politican, unlike Republican leaders calls for violence. To paraphrase what's his name, extremists on both sides do stuff like this. But only on the GOP side are they party leaders.

     It is definitely not appropriate. Granted appropriateness is not required for legality, but I would agree that it is dangerously close to incitement. Not an explicit call for violence, but I know what went through my mind when I saw that and nobody should underestimate the power of art to inspire thoughts and feelings.

Both sides do stuff like this. It isn't appropriate in any instance. Threats of violence - implied or express - should be loudly condemned, regardless of the political affiliation of the perpetrator and victim.

It is very much legal, and also in very poor taste. Appropriate is more difficult to judge. Appropriate for what? An art show? Probably, yes. To use as a meme image? I would say it's very inappropriate for that purpose.

While I do not like Mr. Trump, this gives me the same feeling that seeing anyone hung in effigy does. I don't wish death on anyone, and this is just an extension of that, with the brutality of death shown instead of hidden.
