Up to this point, obviously.

Sorry if this is a morbid and depressing thread, but I am interested to see the responses.

Oddly enough, same..except it was 2011 and it was Friday the 13th. That's the night my father passed.

I forget the exact date, but it was in late January 2010.

I've been lucky to have been spared any close family deaths (I've had great grandparents and pretty distant relatives pass) so my worst days so far have probably involved suicide attempts. Not really anything I'm in the business of talking about, but I'm glad I've at least learned to manage my depression better.

June 25, 2015

I can't say with certainty that it's the worst I've ever felt in my life, but its the one that brings out the most painful memories for me right now.

April 28, 2015. My house caught fire that day, and I still haven't fully sorted out the consequences of that fateful event.

June 13, 2009 and February 7, 2014 are honorable mentions. Mid-June in particular I still get oddly pensive and melancholy during.

Difficult to pick one, but a good portion of late 2015 definitely fits.

June 20th, 2004. Fortunately, the pain of that day was short-lived, and by the end of the summer things were more or less back to normal. Looking back on it, there was a period from about early 2011 to mid-2013 when I probably had depression and didn't realize it. And even though no one day can outdo June 20th, 2004, the cumulative feeling of that time would probably outdo summer 2004 as the worst "time" of my life.

More generally, I think there's really something to be said about being able to share your grief. The worst days of my life were generally the ones where there was a combination of something bad happening and a feeling of loneliness. Having friends or family who are going through the same thing as you are helps you process it much more easily than feeling like you have to go at it on your own.

January 3, 2010.

We're (to ask a very morbid question) all citing the death of a loved one, yes?

Not in my case, no.

Probably not the worst, but April 1, 2014 really sucked at face value (although I realize it could have been worse), and was the first day to come into mind. Other days that came to mind were January 11, 2015 (even though the event in question happened on the 9th of the same month) and October 12, 2010 (although with hindsight, that was a pretty good day). I'm sure worse days will come.

Interesting.  I have a similar experience, except during January.  Tongue  My mood is pretty uniformly better during the summer months, year-after-year.

For me, worst day was probably my grandmother's death in January 2010.

It's because I was focused on spamming what-ifs at the beginning.
