What would have happened if Bernie Sanders ran as an Independent in the election?

Discuss with maps.

Sanders would take a lot of votes away from Clinton, so Trump wins an EV landslide (but not necessarily the PV).

Bernie is a massive spoiler for Hillary

Businessman Donald Trump (R-NY)/Governor Mike Pence (R-IN) - 463 EV
Fmr. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (D-NY)/Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) - 68 EV
Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT)/Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) - 7 EV

I ran the numbers a while ago and never made the map for them.

Trump 451
Clinton 68
Sanders 19

I'm pretty sure I used the caucus results for Washington.

Edit: I think I added Clinton's general, Bernie write ins, and some of Stein and multiplied by the fraction that Bernie and Clinton got in the primaries to get this. There could very well be Bernie supporters who voted Trump in the general that are not accounted for in this.
