META POLL - does DAVE need to modernize the atlas forum?

The forum should be able to handle traffic during election times, like midterms and general elections. It always crashes, and I think that's counterproductive to part of its whole existence.

It doesn't crash on midterms, just presidential election nights (and just the general election, not the primaries).  E.g., here's the 2014 midterm results discussion thread:

I don't see any gaps in time from the forum crashing.

Any forum-related question "Does Dave need to...?" should be answered no.  He doesn't need to do anything.  And the default assumption should be that he won't do anything.  To believe otherwise is to invite disappointment.
