Obvious HP, but I do kinda wonder why we even bother with these polls.  Does anyone honestly think a Republican Senate Majority/Minority Leader would ever come anywhere close to having a FF rating on Atlas while in office regardless of what he (let's be honest, it's gonna be a white man) actually did?

Awful, but agree with others who say he is very competent. He has scored many a tactical win against the other side, keeps his senators in check, knows how to co-opt potentially disrupting forces (see how quickly he turned Rand Paul, a potential thorn in his side, into an ally very quickly), and when it comes down to making a deal (see: the debt ceiling fights during the 2010s), they always look to him.
