Hate to break the circle jerks brahs but sucking dick as a metaphor for subservience to power is pretty sexist. It's got nothing to do with who you support it's the metaphor itself. Surely angus has gotten his dick sucked by his wife, is she just doing it for the money?

Nah cause only sucking dick has an explicit connection to fellatio. I don't know the origin of sucking up, and it may well be the same, but I'm more clueless than I thought if it conjures up the image of a (woman's) mouth over a man's little friend to the average person. If anything the existence of an alternative makes sucking dick even more weird.
