At some point, if they haven't already, it would be nice if the NSA began operating a sort of transparent firewall around each state's election-related servers and workstations, as well as companies that provide any sort of service towards our elections. This shouldn't be negotiable, and "states rights" should take a back seat. They cannot handle this kind of threat, and we shouldn't take any chances.

A direct attack on the nation's critical infrastructure. Every member of Congress should be worried, even Republicans. What happens when or if they decide to do something Russia doesn't like? They don't want to worry about aggressive Russian hacking attempts against them or their own elections. It's also proof that we need paper ballots. Congress has to understand that if faith in the election system collapses, so does faith in the legitimacy Congress itself.
