How many seats are the SNP on track of losing?
At least a dozen or more.
According to the exit poll, -22.

Probably a stupid question, but why exactly is there such a large swing to CON in Scotland? Labour is underperforming in many SNP-held seats, it seems.

Conservative sources also speculate that David Davis could be preparing a leadership bid. That would be quite a comeback after 2005.

Are the Tories consolidating the Leave vote in Scotland? Angus went 52-48 but CON currently has 46%. Needless to say, this is looking like a bad night for Sturgeon.

I am certainly no expert on this, so someone who actually knows something about Scottish politics can correct me if I am wrong... But I think maybe a lot of the usual CON voters in Scotland (what few there are) went SNP last time in 2015, and now have switched back.

That's a bit like celebrating the death of a suicide bomber after detonating at the intended target.

The Toroes have basically campaigned on the one issue of stopping a second independence referendum, so have consolidated a strong proportion of the unionist vote.

Labour on 85% in Liverpool Riverside. Wow
