NI looks like it will end with 10 DUP, 7 SF and the one Independent. She's a unionist IIRC, but would she prop up a Con government ?
Sylvia Hermon normally votes with Labour.

From Patrick Ruffini's Twitter....biggest swings against Conservatives came from high income constituencies:

In other news, the Yorkshire Party is not doing any worse than they did in 2015.

This was a really poor gamble by May. She's not saying on as leader.

Whether it's her or Boris at the helm, it looks like a Conservative + DUP coalition is going to happen now.

Kind of goes hand in hand with other "middle" parties getting wiped out everywhere (around the world....).

The Green Party candidate in Cheltenham is a dead ringer for my best friend. Looks just like him, but shorter.

With 7 seats for Sinn Fein, a majority is 322. That means the magic number for Conservatives is 312, with which they can form a government with the DUP.

For the first time since 1970 no SDLP MPs were elected. They did not exist in 1970.

For the first time since 2010, no UUP MPs were returned. Robin Swann just became UUP leader a few months ago after their poor result in the Northern Ireland elections, and he may have to leave already.

Probably a "joint venture", not a true coalition.

I'm going to bed, hopefully May will have resigned when I wake up. My God, she looked like Dilma Rousseff when she was speaking earlier. Yikes.

What kind of compromises will DUP demand?
