A corp-dem vs. progressive-dem fight for 2018 and 2020 is the GOP's best hope.

It also looks like what we're headed for.

Welp, Cory's probably boned in the 2020 primaries. Good riddance.

This should help him with the diehard Hillary supporters who blame Sanders for her loss.

I obviously agree with Booker that Bernie is not actually legislating and is just grandstanding (perhaps grandstanding with a purpose, but still), but how condescending is this?

“How would you feel if I gave back all of the pharmaceutical money that I have in this cycle? Would you feel better?”

His statement doesn't sound that bad he was claiming Bernie's bill was symbolic with no teeth which is why he didn't vote for it (it's bs btw) but still

Booker is a fraud. Everyone knew that was not a bill, that was a vote-o-rama whatever, all these weird amendments to the budget.

Neither Bernie nor Klobuchar or Franken (the original people with the bill) claimed it is a bill. That is all the more reason Booker should have voted for it. It would have had no effect. It actually called/paved for a future legislation.

The whole deal was "with all necessary" safety measures as required blah blah Drug Imports. And he couldn't vote for that even on principle, knowing it is no bill with no safety repercussion or anything. And now he is for this & for a 15$ Minimum wage (He refused to even support a 12$ Minimum wage). Atleast, he should be honest & claim that he he moved left !

Good for him. It's good when Dems stand up to Bernie's antics

Good for the Trumpublicans, you mean - because it increases the chance of a Dem civil war, which in turn is the only chance the GOP will have post-Trump.
