There are no tapes.

Trump is all talk, no action--he's that way with every facet of his being and all of his policies.  It's why the wall will never be built, the Muslim ban will not succeed, and he will not win 95% of the African American vote on his reelection campaign.

His supporters are also too daft to realize any of this.

I've used the word stupid for him myself, but I'm not sure it's quite right. Willful ignoramus might be better.  All he knows or does is the art of BS and putting himself (he thinks) at the top of the immediate pecking order.  And there seems to be literally zero awareness of anything beyond his little bubble of ego. A bubble that is very fragile, because it refuses to acknowledge the existence of anything outside of itself. Which in turn leads to terrible decisions, because a) he doesn't know anything, and b) he's threatened by everything. Which results in what is a very stupid person for all practical purposes, so I suppose the whys don't really matter.

It's quite simple, really. Whenever James Comey says something that backs up Trump's version of the story it's the truth, but when Comey says something that contradicts Trump it's a lie. But everything Trump says is always the truth.
