Since it was a treaty doenst it need 2/3 of the senate to ratify it or was this a special case. NAFTA was approved 61-38 which doesnt reach the 2/3 threshold.

Which is why Trump can, at any moment, unilaterally withdraw the United States. He's going to hold the threat of total withdrawal over Mexico's head to get them to pay for the wall, all the while reworking the "treaty" to benefit Americans.
