Obviously endorsed. Can't think of anyone more suited to serve as Governor in our region, period.

Alright. This is an issue I also think is important, so I'll do something about it.

But you are registered in the South, so you'll have a hard time voting for me or Kingpoleon in a week and a half.

Time for my real announcement speech:

Citizens of Lincoln, I am here today to officially announce that I am running for one more term as governor of Lincoln. For nearly eight months I have led this region and done so much for you. My list of accomplishments is massive, and if elected I will work for the next four months to expand it as much as I can.

As long as I have been in office I have worked to improve our economy. When our unemployment was rising, I took it upon myself to write an act that would create jobs through huge boosts to our manufacturing sector and infrastructure, made it so that young people could receive help finding employment and their search for careers, gave assistance to small businesses and new businesses so that they could be competitive in today's economy, raised the minimum wage, and abolished the sales tax. These policies have all improved the lives of many in Lincoln, and shall continue to do so.

The environment is another issue in which I have made large amounts of progress. I have provided subsidies to green energy technologies, wrote a law which aimed to clean the quality of water, improved defenses from storms, and introduced regulations which held big businesses accountable if their practices harmed the environment.

These policies are just some of the things that I have accomplished during my time serving this region's interests, and I hope that you will give me the chance to keep doing what I think is best for this region. Drug prices in Lincoln are too high for many people too afford, for example. I will release a bill in the future which will set up an independent agency to negotiate drug prices with the pharmaceutical companies. This is the system which Canada and other countries use to achieve their low drug prices. This will also end price gouging in our region. I would encourage other regions to start using similar programs.

I would like to thank Speaker of the Lincoln Assembly CXSmith, Representative One J, Southern Governor NeverAgain, Representative and Registrar General Peebs, Lincoln Lieutenant Governor J. Gibson, Representative LLR, Senator R2D2, and Secretary of State Ted Bessell for their endorsements.

We have accomplished so much, and we can accomplish so much more. I would be honored to receive your support of these measures in the voting booth next month.

- Your Governor, MikeWells

Uh, correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you currently serving your second term as governor, isn't that against the constitution a third term? I may have just been out of Lincoln too long.

I've actually checked that before; there are no term limits in the constitution.

The voting booth is open! Be sure to vote for me!

Vote here for another term of progressive achievements we can all be proud of, and please remember to vote for R2D2 for Senate, YES on the referendums, and vote your conscience in the Assembly election.

We won!

My fellow Lincolnites, I thank you all for voting this weekend. I especially thank you for voting for me this weekend. Wink My next term will include a public option, lower drug prices, and more funding to make college education more affordable to struggling students. That's a promise, those will happen, along with other things too.

Also, to my fellow Laborites, uh, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. You win some, you lose a bunch, better luck in two months.
