Yes, I did a lot of work for the DFL in 2006, Obama campaign in 2008 and RT Rybak and then Mark Dayton's Gubernatorial campaigns in 2010, and anti-marriage amendment work in 2012.

Yes, I have worked on multiple local and statewide campaigns in both a volunteer and staff capacity.

The most exciting campaign I've ever worked on was Thad Cochran's reelection in 2014 against Chris McDaniel, but I think the sleepy races are a lot more fun to work.

Never volunteered, although I did edit a candidate's wikipedia page earlier this year in exchange for renumeration from a different candidate's campaign.

No, but I'll probably volunteer for the VVD in the future.

Sounds sketchy....

Hopefully you were working on the right side of the law, or were just cracking a joke....

Repeatedly. Was actually the county coordinator for state auditor Dave Yost reelection campaign in 2014 comma Governor Kasich lawn sign coordinator as well. Have done so plenty of other times as far back as when I was not quite 15 and hand out leaflets for Senator Gary Hart before the 1984 Democratic Pennsylvania primary. Four years later I was College chair of students for Dukakis. That was, not pleasant. Several other campaigns from local to National level beyond that.

Well, that's of dubious legality, but unquestionable s*** baggery.

Just got back from a volunteer training session for the Harley Rouda campaign. Right now it's just trying to get people registered to vote and inntroducing people to the candidate.

You Old Skool Pol you.... Wink

When you decide to retire from arguably one of the most underpaid, underappreciated jobs in the US with long hours and difficult working conditions in public service as an elected statewide Rep, you definitely have a wealth of talent on Atlas if you choose to do a side gig as a consultant, while you recoup the massive student loan debt incurred by working in the private sector.

Muon2, you're one of the best posters on the Forum, and seriously when it comes to working on political campaigns, you probably have deepest knowledge and background compared to virtually any other poster out here.

Yes, as an active member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany and Chairman of the local youth-wing of that party I'm permanently on the job for all elections.
