This will be both my campaign thread and policy/question thread

As your delegate, I will work hard for the working class and work with both Labor and Federalists to better our region and help it prosper. I am running as a Liberal Democrat because I believe the South needs someone outside of the political norms of the Labor and Federalist parties who won't be beholden to party interests and leaders to get the job done for the PEOPLE. I hope in June you will elect me as one of our glorious Delegates.

On the Economy:

I believe everyone has a right to employment and as such, we must encourage job growth, I believe a reduction in taxes on the person and business while raising the minimum wage will spur job growth and allow the economy to flourish. We must also end the corporate loopholes that allow companies to not pay their fair share in taxes, which is why I would propose the "Economic Stability and Reform Act" to the Chamber that would seek to implement taxes on the upper classes to 45% while lowering taxes by 5% on businesses while raising the minimum wage to $12 an hour for all sectors, while also closing the above mentioned loopholes.

Social platform:

 I am a firm defender of LGBT+ rights and will work to defend this rights against attack from certain elements of our society. On Abortion, I am pro-choice but believe the choice should be with the mother and not have the state dictate one way or the other.

On Health Care:

I believe health care is a right and as your deputy I will fight for a universal medicare program with the option to opt out for private insurance if one chooses, and the ability to choose any doctor you prefer. No one will be allowed to deny you health care based on any pre-existing condition.

On Education:

We need to modernize our schools in the South, as your deputy I believe we need to invest more money into STEM programs while not leaving the Liberal Arts behind. Parents who wish to opt out of public schools may very well use a voucher to go to a charter or private school as they see fit.

With regards to Universities, I believe education should be free for those who don't have the means this includes books and supplies needed. State Colleges should be free for everyone regardless of their economic backgrounds.

What is your view on how to stop drugs being price gauged

I believe we need to enact legislation to cap prices at 30% above cost of production so that private distributors and companies can't raise the price of life saving medication to over 2,000%
