Moderate Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia manages to win the Democratic nomination
and chooses New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to appease the left wing of the party. Republican and
Libertarian tickets remain the same.

Discuss with maps.

De Blasio re-engages Cuomo, drawing him into a mudslinging battle. Zephyr Teachout announces her endorsement of any three of the Reform, Green, or Libertarian Parties. Preet Bharara investigates several top ranking Cuomo staffers. With Cuomo's approvals sinking to 40% in New York, Trump commits major resources in the Northeast. Trump, in the Northeast, campaigns on fair trade, single-payer healthcare, infrastructure spending, and law and order. Rudy Giuliani discusses law and order and hire some light pro-choice points at separate surrogate rallies. Manchin, in appealing to Mormons, alienates other major voting blocs in the West.

269: Joe Manchin/Andrew Cuomo - 39.5%
263: Donald Trump/Rudy Giuliani - 43.4%
6: Evan McMullin/Mindy Finn - 1.5%
Gary Johnson/Bill Weld - 14.5%
Others - 1.1%

Interesting take on Trump/Giuliani doing very well in the North East. Had this indeed happened the projection of the two parties would be more pronounced... would have been the last chance to turn the Democratic Party towards the centre again.

Minority turnout collapses even more than in real life. Easy Trump win

Well, can you imagine John Huntsman/Condoleeza Rice v. John Bel Edwards/Ron Unz?

At this point no for Huntsman and Rice although I certainly wouldn't be opposed to it.
John Bel Edwards and Ron Utz would be an interesting ticket to watch which could give
Trump trouble in 2020. If by some miracle Trump either a) loses the nomination in 2020 or b) decided to retire in 2020 I doubt that Huntsman would run
