Voted for someone besides Trump in 2016 (Clinton, Johnson, or Stein), but approves of Trump's performance now (according to Gallup, just 36% approve Trump's performance while 60% disapprove).

A normally partisan conservative Republican who couldn't quite stomach voting for him last year.

Voted for someone besides Trump in 2016 (Clinton, Johnson, or Stein), but approves of Trump's performance now (according to Gallup, just 36% approve Trump's performance while 60% disapprove).

To clarify does the 36% represent non-Trump voters who approve of Trump and not the overall approval rating.

My ideas of some candidate voters:

* Someone who's made a lot of money off the stock market since Trump came into office.

* A person affected by an industry that Trump's policies have generally helped - example corrections industry, oil & gas, private security, golf cart sales Smiley

* Perhaps they were Utahans who voted for what's his name.

* Or #nevertrumpers who in the end were republicans or leaned GOP and approved of say the travel ban or Syria's airfield attack or axing TPP or the Paris announcement.

36% is overall approval, per Gallup. Per 538.com it's 38.5% approve, 55.5% disapprove (overall).

I suspect Trump's approval among Clinton, Johnson, or Stein voters is in the single digits or barely 10% at best.

A nationalist person who supported Huntsman->Gingrich->Paul in 2012. Of the following five: opposition to the Paris agreement, anti-Assad foreign policy, Gorsuch-like SCOTUS justices, repeal and conservative replacement of ObamaCare, and anti-TPP, three of them are in their top five biggest issues.

Some Mormon whose one and only preoccupation is abortion. Strongly approves of the Gorsuch nomination, voted for McMullin.
