Capito/Rockefeller, obviously. Manchin is pretty awful as well, though.

Very surprised by this.  I know Capito isn't very outspoken about abortion and pretty much toes the party line when it counts, but she still somewhat presents herself as the kind of "moderate Republican" I thought you had come to have a strong distaste for (though the reason is foreign to me, other than just assuming you hate pro-choice Republicans?).  Not a fan of Rockefeller at all, but I just can't not go with Byrd; racist liberals are the worst kinds of politicians, 100% of the time.

Capito/Byrd, easy vote.

A lot of us have issues with a politician who is a former Klansman, voted against and filibustered civil rights legislation and used the N-word on national TV in the 2000s.  I guess you don't, that's whatever, but it shouldn't be hard for you to understand.

Also, as a generic liberal Democrat, there's not a lot for a Republican to admire in him unless they have a soft spot for the Jim Crow South.  I don't.

Capito/Byrd, easy vote.

You can be a "moderate" Republican (Capito, Toomey, etc.) without running away from your party, being pro-choice and/or an awful hawk (Kirk, McCain, etc.). I have serious disagreements with Capito when it comes to a lot of issues, but she's much better than any other WV Senator. Rockefeller was a condescending partisan hack (which is the reason why he is winning this poll) who didn't care about his state at all, and Manchin's "conservative Democrat" shtick is fake as hell (When it actually makes the difference and his vote counts, this guy will vote with Schumer and toe the party line no matter what. Having a nice accent and acting like a moderate or conservative Democrat won't change that). I also generally think Capito is a better person than any of the others, especially Manchin and Rockefeller.

Munchkin voted to confirm the Grand Wizard this year, stated we need a new War on Drugs, supports Trump withdrawing the US from the Paris accord, and was always conservative even by West Virginia Democrat standards, especially as governor.  The man would let people sleep with his own wife in the name of "bipartisanship," and probably does.

Capito, Manchin, Goodwin are FF's.
Rockefeller and Byrd are HP's.
