Showing our concern for House Majority Whip Steve Scalise is the right thing to do.
Many here on Atlas wish him a full recovery.

But we must also think about Matt Mika, a lobbyist for Tyson Foods who was shot twice in the chest and who is also in critical condition.
According to an article in Politico, "his parents traveled from their home in Michigan to be with him at the hospital, where friends and colleagues were keeping vigil."

I wish him, and the others with less severe injuries, the best.
