What were some of First Lady Rosalynn Carter's more redeeming qualities? Several years ago I read a piece on first ladies and Carter wasn't even mentioned.

I understand that she was both smart and ambitious for her husband, but masked her ambition well behind her charm, like Nancy Reagan could.

She's the best one we've had since Eleanor! (Ironically unlike the Eleanor we know, she actually was born as an Eleanor)
