Ohio is a bellwether state, the two times it got picking a president wrong since 1896, were in 1944, and 1960, when it voted Republican, Ohio had 25 electoral votes.

Pennsylvania had 25 electoral votes in 1984 and 1988, and in both elections, voted Republican. However, it voted Republican by 7 points in 1984, the Democrat would win by 11 points had the popular vote been dead even. In 1988, it voted Republican by 2 points, it was the third closest state behind Illinois and Washington.

Florida, however, had 25 electoral votes in the 1990s and 2000. It is a bellwether state, it picked Bush over Clinton in 1992.
