I doubt that any Republican who could clear the primaries could carry Oregon or Washington unless they where a popular incumbent from one of those states.

It would have to be a moderate or liberal Republican and even then, the chances would be very, very slim.

Pretty soon in the future, there will be threads like "Which Republican could possibly flip New Mexico and Colorado?" because of changing demographics.
