Which animal farm movie did you like better

The 1999 film was pretty awful. They shouldn't try to market Animal Farm as a kids movie.

Yes the '54 one, even with the CIA sticking its nose in. The '99 version basically destroys the entire point  of the Orwell version with the changed ending.

I always find it curious how sympathetic the Trotsky pig is portrayed in the novel given Orwell doesn't seem particularly enamoured with Trosky or his allies in his other writings.

in the 54 version the  ending also changes , as the animals overthrow the pigs in the end. Though other then that its pretty similar to the book while the 1999 version changes a lot more then that.

Both were absolutely awful; the heavily altered endings in particular were abominations.
