No, it shouldn't.

It's ridiculous to hold politicians responsible for taking pictures with constituents who later go onto be awful people. These pols, in most cases, do not know these weirdos.

Guess he's willing to kill his GE chances to make it out of the primary.

Does Tarkanian know that it was Mccain who voted against ObamaCare repeal and not Heller hahaha

What a god

Rosen will probably wipe the floor with Tarkanian, I suspect Heller actually gets stronger in the GE by saying he did vote for Trump though - Trump did fairly well in Nevada despite a big early vote deficit, and not going with Trump sure didn't do Joe Heck any favors. Lean Rosen against Heller though, Likely (at least) against Tarkanian.

The guy is the dictionary definition of a perennial candidate. He's run for:

State Senate in 2004
Secretary of State in 2006
US Senate in 2010
NV-4 in 2012
NV-3 in 2016

The guy is a modern-day Harold Stassen but without a victory.

I'm quite impressed by his lack of shame. I don't know how one can show their faces after five (or even three!) losses, particularly when 3 of these weren't even close.

His dad was a famous basketball coach. That's it.

It sounds really stupid, but it's true. Tongue

Poll shows Tarkanian +8 over Heller in the GOP primary

http://winwithjmc.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Nevada-Senate-Executive-Summary.pdf

It'd sure make it easier on Rosen if he gets to go up against the Tark next year.

This was interesting too:

This is the guy Jacky Rosen defeated to take Joe Heck's seat. IIRC, that was the closest race he's run yet, only losing by 3,900 votes.

She won against him in an R+2 Trump District, we are talking about  a D+1 Nevada.

If Tarkanian wins the primary, he loses to Rosen.

Jon Ralston says there will be a major candidate announcement tomorrow:

I'm betting that Titus will throw her hat into the ring, but we'll see.

Heller retiring. Amodei entering.

IRL, probably something underwhelming.

Maybe. Someone wrote that Titus was not running and he basically denied that that was true.

Isn't Lee a self-funder? If so, that probably locks this district up for the next two elections. NV-03 isn't the friendliest of territory, at least by comparison to the rest of Nevada, but Trump's statewide approvals are catastrophic.

NV-03's not going Republican during a Trump Presidency, especially with a strong Democratic challenger.

Republican Sarah Gazala is also running against Heller. This should help Heller win the primary.

I'd call this Lean D but I think Heller has more of a chance than Flake. Either way this will be one of the most interesting races next year.
