This hypothetical question assumes that Trump is not impeached, but faces a primary challenge.  Will his long history of adultery become an issue with a revitalized fundamentalist bloc, or will it be overlooked by these voters like it was last year?

It will be overlooked. He gave evangelicals their pro life SC nominee.

Evangelicals do not expect their President to be a saint. They expect him/her to appoint Supreme Court Justices who will overturn Roe v. Wade, Lawrence v. Texas, and Obergefell v. Hodges. They want Justices who will rule that bakery owners, and such, have a constitutional right to refuse to bake cakes, and so on, for gay couples. Plus they want Justices who will not make more mistakes like Roe, Lawrence, and Obergefell.

it seems like adultery is no longer an issue in Republican primaries in general.

You should work for the Trump administration.

Anyway, adultery is only a serious issue when it's the other side doing it.  Just like accusations of rape.

No, he's straight so he can be as vulgar and un-"family like" as possible and the right wing will look the other way
