Representatives have 72 hours to post on this with comments or questions. Also I will give the same amount of time for a sponsor to volunteer to step forward.

This is a Senate originated bill that I am putting in a regular slot to get us caught up.

The reason why I'm advocating for this is because I realize that our environment is suffering. Something should be done in order to save our precious planet.

Here's just one of the problems brought up in this bill (I'll present other problems of the world that this bill lists as time goes on):

For example, in many cases man has brought exotic species into different habitats not native of the invasive species habitat. It has caused consequences. Zebra mussels are native to the Black, Caspian, Aral, and Azov seas. Eventually, they were intoduced to Russia, Europe, and North America.

Zebra mussels were brought in ballast water via ships to keep them balanced at sea. You might ask, "What's the problem with mussels". Well, mussels's population multiplies rapidly like the number of affected acres of a large wildfire (no pun intended). These creatures actually filter water which impacts the native plankton and it decreases the amount of food fish need for energy and survival period. Then, fish have to look for other sources of food. On top of this, Zebra mussels are greedy and leave very little water for native mussels to filter for themselves which causes them to starve.

Pre-reset, we passed a ban on Mountain Top Removal mining back in 2012. TJ in Cleve sponsored it I think.

Without objection I am now sponsor of this bill.

Are there any further comments or amendments to this. Most of the members have not spoken on this. If such is not forth coming by this evening I will open a final vote.

The ideas expressed in the bill are good reasons to vote yes to this bill.

Although there are some areas I think the bill doesn't go far enough, the needs it addresses are worth voting yes on.

This has enough votes to pass, Representatives have 24 hours to change their votes.
