Senators,

I believe that in the recent poll, the removal of "under God" -- as opposed to keeping the pledge as is, or removing it entirely -- was the option that was least desired by the people. Therefore, I would request Senator Gabu to withdraw the bill from the Senate floor.

Yes, there's not much point in having this bill as it currently stands, given that its current version is the version that almost nobody wants.  I withdraw this bill.

We'll try again when its new version comes up to bat.
