Special elections for GA-06 and SC-05 are held today.

Latest polls show a tied race in GA-06 (with a trend towards Handel) and about a 10-point lead for the Republican in SC-05.

Polls close at 7:30pm Eastern in both states.

I'm excited to either see a Democratic victory OR write a scathing hot take about how Ossoff lost because of the complete lack of coherent Dem messaging on any issue besides being anti-Trump.

I will also take this time to note that Jon Ossoff's fundraising emails are THE WORST and whoever is in charge of writing them should never have a job on any Democratic campaign again.

Rain and thunderstorms steadily through the afternoon, but not an extremely hard rain.  At the moment  it's cloudy and pleasantly cool for a June morning in Atlanta.
