2018: Next year you'll guys really have it!
2020: We're gonna get the House next year. Trump's reelection means nothing. NOTHING.
2022: First they came for the Bad Hombres. Now they're gonna come for me. I swear!

I notice all the Trump hacks are ignoring the SC-05 result
Not a hack but I've mentioned it multiple times.

Special elections don't always reflect what will happen in the midterm and there are plenty of Republicans in Clinton districts that will probably lose next year. GA-6 is a Republican gerrymander, anyway and it functioned just as it was intended to tonight. It could flip next year, though.
When are you guys actually going to start winning anything?

lol It feels like that.  Maybe Democrats will just lose every election forever and ever and ever.

at this point, i surely think a trump re-election would be possible, it would just not have to do a lot with trump.

When is Pelosi ever going to be held accountable 2010..2012..2014..2016..2018? Why are House Dems ok with this?

Didnt you hear? The geniuses over at the DNC are hiring Rham Emanuel to coordinate the 2018 mid-terms. He's going to brush the dust off the 90s DLC playbook and bring back the Clinton days! Sure it hasn't worked in nearly 20 years but dont worry ...any day now!
I don't think putting up ultra-liberal Sandernistas will do it

Why not? He came close in a traditionally Republican district and rematches do often result in reversal. It probably will be open next year anyway, because Handel will probably run for Governor being that she is constantly chasing power.

After this race, its hard to see anyone changing their mind about Ossoff.  It would be hard for him to justify another run without adding anything substantive to his resume.

Ossoff is going to end up with almost the exactly % he got back in April. That by itself is amazing.

Not all suburbanites think the same. Democrats should try to appeal to everyone, same as the GOP. Centrist voters are somewhat suburban. It depends on the state and the environment of the state and country.

Jon Ossoff was the most bland, policy-ignoring, featureless center-left asshole they could find and he still got called a f**king San Francisco Maoist.

We can be centrist, but we still need a vision instead of just being anti-Trump or pro-Trump.

I know nothing about Ossoff except for the fact that he was seen as being a figurehead of being "a referendum over Trump". That should say something. I know nothing about him except for the fact that he is a Democrat.

You do realize that special elections mean little for general election results correct?

You do realize that the only election we can confidently predict right now is that Democrats will win at least one of the next several elections.

So do you think a Trump supporter can defeat Maxine Waters? How about Nancy Pelosi? Jose Serrano? I mean the results of the special elections leave the possibilities endless for Republicans gains...
