No, it just means the entire strategy of the dems is wrong.

You know, something just occurred to me.

If Obama had cut an ad for Ossoff, which he rarely does for congressional candidates, would that have helped Ossoff or hurt him?

The more I see the how these olds vote, the less I care about preserving Medicare.

Call me a bad person because of it - I already know.

Say what you want about the district or either of the candidate's respective campaigns, but the fact that Dems will likely come up short in GA-06 bodes very, very badly for the Dems going into 2018.  The fact that so many Democrats, from top to bottom, were so invested in this race is going to sting for a long time and will negatively impact recruitment, fundraising and energy going forward.

Say what you want about the race being close, but a loss as a loss and it will be Karen Handel, not Ossoff, in all likelihood heading to DC.  This isn't the Olympics, second place doesn't mean anything in politics.  

Special elections are special.  This isn't encouraging news for Democrats, but you can only read so much into these.

Ossoff ran the tried and true New Democrat "Identity Politics" campaign.  Instead of talking about real issues, he just focused on checking off the minority boxes and getting his womyn buzzwords into cute soundbites.  It's the reason Hillary lost and it's the reason Democrats will continue to lose.

He talked about Healthcare the most.

Tweet says how Quist and Thompson had far less money but did 'better' than Ossoff did. I'm saying if they got the financial backing Ossoff got, they would've lost by more than they did.

Maybe if the Dems want to flip a seat in GA, they should try for GA-12 (John Barrow's old seat).  That went red in the 2014 GOP tsunami when it was a blue seat for practically a century.
