Refusing to vote in this poll because of the omission of Starkville.  Its way more of a college town (based on the criteria you established) than many cities on this list.

Athens, GA otherwise.

Was it on the list to which I linked and from which I applied that criteria to get the cities in the poll? No, it was not. I don't think I could possibly have made it any clearer how those places were chosen. There's a poll with 48 towns listed and the criteria specifically defined and yet you still think it's necessary to whine...

Do you mean Berkeley? I was considering voting for that city, but there are just too many good options that's i'm still debating it. My favorites are definitely Berkeley, Ann Arbor, Cambridge, and Madison, no question. But even narrowing it to just them seems so unfair to all the other great ones.

I really would like to visit the Raleigh-Durham area. From what I've seen and read, it seems amazingly beautiful there.

Sticking with sentimental favorites:

1) Iowa City
2) Champaign
3) Madison

You're such a Midwesterner! lol

I guess next time you should use some common sense and list all the major college towns instead of lazily consulting some random Internet list.

I mean, no one's asking you to include "hundreds" of college towns. If you'd just included all of the University of _____ and ____ State University, plus any other school that plays in the SEC/ACC/Big 10/Big 12/Pac 12*, you probably wouldn't have gotten any complaints.

* excepting the ones that play in cities like Chicago, Pittsburgh, etc., that don't meet anyone's definition of "college town"

Or I could make a poll based on whatever criteria I please and you, along with any others whose sole contribution is to complain, can go somewhere else.

Picked Ann Arbor but I prefer Nashville for personal reasons as a Vandy grad.

Once again the Forum has shown its brilliance by selecting Bloomington and College Station as winners of all place Roll Eyes
